Besides music, I am not a huge fan of art. My parents always took me to the theater growing up and I always enjoyed it. However, I never thought of it as a deeper experience. Another memory I have is going to the Thomas Kinkade gallery and walking around to see his beautiful paintings. Thomas Kincade was known as a “Painter of Light” I remember walking around the gallery and looking for the glimpses of light in each picture. The Thomas Kincade gallery was in Port Jefferson, New York. My parents and I would go there for lunch, ice cream and then my mom would always have to stop into the gallery and observe his beautiful paintings.
